The FIRST STEPS AWARD is the leading German Newcomer Award founded by Bernd Eichinger and Nico Hofmann and is sponsored by the German Film Academy , UFA , Amazon Studios, Warner Bros., Studio Hamburg, Seven-One Entertainment Group. Every year it awards young filmmakers in 9 categories for their films.
German Films in collaboration with the Marché du Film Cannes selected 4 up- and coming german producers who are working on their first feature film to take part in Coaching Sessions at this years Marché du Film in Cannes. Leopold Pape will be part with our upcoming feature film "Tal der Könige" that is in co-production with ZDF Das Kleine Fernsehspiel , Port au Prince Films and Elemag Pictures.
